Blood Queen Lana'thel was definitely no soft-hearted Brad Pitt vampire wannabe. Congrats to our hardworking members for beating this rather intense DPS race, and for providing Blur with its first heroic tier token and nabbing the horde first and server 2nd kill on this emo vampiress! This kill not only solidifies our standing as top Horde guild, but also puts us in a good position to start aiming for #1 on the server! Keep up the hard work, Blur Goobers, because we've still got quite a ways to go. Special thanks goes out to those who helped work out the minor kinks and adjustments, and a thanks goes out to Peechez for logging on and letting me respec out of Icy Talons :x.. (DON'T MAKE ME GO FROST ANYMORE QQ).

ONWARD TOWARDS MORE HAIR PULLING-- err... MORE TIER AND HEROIC KILLS! YAY!

I think many of us can agree that once we pushed past our mental block, this fight was actually pretty intriguing. Rest assured both Rayelin and I have acquired a few new bald spots on our heads, but at the end of the fight the epic ending to this fight made the entire experience worthwhile. Thanks to those who put in the effort to help correct the errors we made, and thanks to those who put in the energy and effort to make this kill possible. While we do know that this is only a normal mode kill, it was still no easy feat and in our minds the elation we felt surpasses that of our first ToGC25 Insanity kill.

Btw, anyone else get completely freaked out by the raid nuke at 10%? Maybe I should have watched that part of the video hohoho :x

The title pretty much sums it up. Last night we managed to defeat the Blood Queen Lana'thel after just 5 short attempts, sending her and her metro-sexual melf posse packing. This nabs us another Icecrown Citadel wing server first, and the only kill on the server for that raid lockout. So great effort guys and give yourself a pat on the back! But, don't get too comfortable because there are still a lot more challenges ahead. :o

As of January 12, 2010 <Blur> officially celebrates its first anniversary! Originally formed by a small ragtag group of friends with very little endgame raiding experience, we have managed to create a top ranked guild on Tichondrius. Thanks to everyone who helped create <Blur> and thanks to those who continue to maintain our positive and polite attitudes which have gained us a small measure of recognition on the server. MUCHO KUDOS-O. (That's "Much Kudos" for our Mexican members). Also a warm thanks to all the random folk in Dalaran who mounted up and added to THE MONSTROSITY of our celebration!

But the fun doesn't end there! Aside from it being our first anniversary we also managed to nab our first pseudo realm first by getting the server first kill on Professor Putricide! Our enthusiasm for finally managing to beat one of the top guilds to the punch was properly displayed by Tooya's pasty white orc butt. Grats to everyone who put in the effort and in case it was hard to tell, Tooya is not the gorilla to the right lolol.

The title says it all... after a lot of mistakes we finally get our Tribute to Insanity. Though it came late, we're proud of being able to claim this achievement and remain among the top guilds on Tichondrius. Grats to everyone who was there, and thanks to Vanner for being our ghetto tricksing "rogue"! I think many of us can agree that getting this achievement was beginning to drive us mad with the constant DC's, minor mistakes, and my nerd raging over vent :x. So thanks to all who stuck it out and put up with me! :D
